Vinification: cold maceration of the grapes during pre-fermentation, followed by alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless-steel tanks
Aging: in stainless steel tanks with periodic batonnage for 8 months
Bottle aging: 2 months prior market launch
Sensory notes
Color: bright straw yellow
Nose: variegated, characterized by notes of yellow flowers and fruity notes of peach and citrus
Palate: rich and complex, revealing remarkable sapidity and freshness. Incredibly persistent flavor
Recommended pairing: pleasant as an aperitif, ideal with oysters, crustaceans, and baked fish
First year of production: 2022. Gualdo del Re has been producing Vermentino since the 1980s.
